Hi
Amigas!
This is Rodney Roo reporting from Year 2B at St Ethnea.
Mr Evans’ Spanish is so bad he has been sent back to Junior
Primary!!!
He
loved playing hide-n-seek among the Australian Eucalyptus trees.
That’s right - Eucalyptus trees in Argentina!
The
girls were playing house under the trees, sweeping the floor with
branches.
One girl was playing with a beach ball and one naughty little
pixie shot Mr. Evans with a play-gun made from a tree branch.
Mr. Evans even fell to the ground!
He is so embarrassing!!!
During
break time, Josh was wandering among the Australian Eucalyptus
trees in the school grounds when he found a gravesite.
The Argentine Sisters of Mercy who travelled to Australia in 1880
are buried in the school grounds. Wow!!!
So St Aloysius College was established by nuns from Argentina!
Maybe they were the ones who took the gum trees back to St Ethnea!!!
One
boy drove Mr. Evans crazy ringing the lunch bell!
Ring, ring, ring, ring, ring, ring, ring, ring....’ENOUGH!!!’
yelled Mr. Evans.
I
think they liked him!!! Or maybe those smiles are just because
he was finally learning some Spanish!!!
He couldn't say their names so they all wrote it down on a piece
of paper for him.
I am going to tell you a secret...........Mr. Evans kept playing
with the big beach ball all day. No wonder his Spanish is terrible!!!
He would rather play than learn.
But...............Josh and Mr Evans had the kids spellbound when
they showed them the Plastic Cup Dance.
Soon 200 kids will be playing the Cup Dance at a big concert.
When it was time to leave, all the kids and teachers waved to
the Grumpy One. These are all the kids from Year 1 and Year 2.
That's
it for today skippers!!!!
This
is Rodney Roo skipping, I mean hopping away to another story t,t,t,t,t,t,t,t,t,t,t,t,t,t,t,t,t
