A happy relationship with a host family is the highlight of staying in another country. It is safe, comfortable and fun. It is reassuring for your parents to know that you are being cared for.

You will have opportunities to improve your English, make friends and participate in family activities and travel. Homestay parents will be able to offer advice about life in Australia.

In a homestay family, you will have your own room, a space to study and shared bathroom facilities. You will be provided with breakfast and evening meal. You will be expected to fit in with household routines and keep your own room and personal belongings in order. House cleaning and laundry are provided.

Homestay placements are made by the excellent Australian company Australian Homestay Network.
