Year 12 Social Action

Year 12 Social Action

After a great deal of thought and preparation students from the two Year 12 Society & Culture classes staged their Social Action Lunchtime. The activity raised awareness about a diverse range of worthy organisations and their support of groups in need. An amazing amount of money was raised and will be forwarded to the Childhood Cancer Association, the Zahra Foundation, The Sammy D Foundation, Catherine House, Mercy Ships, Little Heroes Foundation, Oxfam and Greenpeace. Collectively, the environment, women, children and young people will benefit from the generosity and support of the SAC community. It was an eye-opening and rewarding activity for our Year 12 students who have gained invaluable skills in collaboration, cooperation, organization, creativity, advertising and presentation, while meeting the SACE requirements for their Group Task.
