The Arts
Embracing Creativity
If your daughter has a flair for the arts, many artistic pursuits are available within the curriculum including Visual Art, Design, Music and Drama. Students can build on these skills through lunch time clubs and workshops, collaborative community projects, art exhibitions, dance groups and a bi-annual Year 6-12 Production. In our purpose-built Drama Theatre and Studio, students are also able to learn the skills of backstage work, sound and lighting design. Musical talents are developed through individual tuition or by joining a performance group such as the orchestra, various choirs, or smaller ensembles including flute, strings, percussion and drums. There is also a stage band, jazz vocal group and rock bands as well as an Indonesian gamelan orchestra.
