Reaching New Heights: Dunlevie Building Tops Out!

It has been a productive last few weeks on site as we have officially “topped out” the new Dunlevie Building with the rooftop slab completed last week. It is quite the view from the top floor and we’re sure the rooftop play space and terrace areas will be a favourite amongst students both for learning and break times.

This is a significant milestone in the project – Schiavello and the College are very pleased with the progress of the building being on schedule despite some wet weather of late.

While we have been busy looking up, exciting developments have also been taking place inside the building and especially on the ground floor. The expanse of the interior is being appreciated as the drawings come to form, with the ground floor now wall framed, first fix services completed and gyprock now being installed.

Over coming weeks, we will see wall framing and first fix construction across the first and second floors and more of the precast being installed across the levels.
