Stage 1 Outdoor Education (Year 10) Rock Climbing

Over three weeks our Stage 1 Outdoor Education students spent their Wednesday afternoons climbing at Vertical Reality Climbing, gradually building their confidence and technical skills. In the classroom, they developed rope skills, learned essential knots, and set personal and group goals. Week by week, their belaying, communication, and climbing techniques strengthened.

The final session took us outdoors to Morialta, where students applied everything, they had practiced on real rock! They embraced new heights, supported one another, and enjoyed a glorious day in nature, complete with a friendly koala perched nearby.

A proud moment watching their skills, teamwork, and resilience come together.
