Learning Support Officer – Secondary Mathematics & Science
We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Officer to join our Inclusive Education team in a Reception-Year 12 city school for girls. The successful candidate will be confident supporting secondary students in Mathematics and Science and committed to assisting students with diverse learning needs to engage successfully in their learning.
The Learning Support Officer will supervise and support students with formally identified additional needs in accordance with their Personalised Plans for Learning (PPLs). Working under the guidance of classroom or intervention teachers, the role involves providing flexible support in classrooms and small group settings, while using sound judgement to assist student learning and engagement.
You will work closely with students, teachers and families as part of a collaborative team environment with experienced leadership committed to inclusive practice and student success.
The successful applicant will demonstrate:
- Confidence supporting secondary-level Mathematics and Science
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Commitment to supporting students with diverse learning needs

- Full-time equivalent salary: $73,425 Year 1
- ESO Grade 3 – Curriculum
- Multiple positions available (permanent and contract for 2026)
- Commencing April 2026
- 41 weeks per year
- 26 – 32.5 hours per week negotiable (4-5 days)

Out of School Hours Care Casual Positions
We are seeking expressions of interest from casual staff who are passionate about developing happy, capable and confident children through an engaging program to join our OSHC team. A willingness to work in both Before School Care (7 – 9am) and After School Care (2 – 6pm) will be advantageous.
