Director of Inclusive Education (POR 3)

St Aloysius College is seeking an experienced, values-driven Director of Inclusive Education (R–12) to join our College in this newly established role. 
The Director provides strategic leadership to strengthen a whole-school culture of inclusion, grounded in Mercy values of compassion, respect and justice. The role promotes student wellbeing, belonging and safety, ensuring students with additional learning needs are supported to access learning and participate fully across College life. 
The Director leads inclusive education policy, practice and processes aligned with Mercy Education, CESA guidelines and NCCD requirements, including ethical, accurate and timely NCCD implementation. Leading an experienced and collaborative team of Learning Support Officers and Learning Intervention Teachers, the role builds staff capability, drives evidence-informed practice, and uses data and student voice to monitor progress and refine support structures. 

Position Details:

  • This position is open to applicants with both teaching and non-teaching backgrounds
  • Fulltime Permanent Position
  • Commencing Term 2, Monday 27 April 2026 or earlier by negotiation
  • Salary determined as per teacher classification structure (up to Proficient Teacher 5 $116,160) or ESO Grade 6 – Curriculum ($104,369 – $116,160)
  • Additional Position of Responsibility 3 (POR 3) allowance of $16,711

Learning Support Officer – Permanent and Contract Positions

We are seeking skilled and committed Learning Support Officers to join our collaborative team, supporting students across Junior Primary and/or Secondary settings, with a particular focus on Literacy, Mathematics and Science. Work alongside passionate educators and shape brighter futures—one student at a time. 
We welcome applicants with experience in school-based support roles who demonstrate initiative, adaptability, and a genuine commitment to meeting the diverse learning needs of students. 

About the Role 
In this rewarding position, you will work closely with teachers to provide targeted support for students with a range of learning profiles, including: 

  • Students on the Autism Spectrum 
  • Learners with dyslexia or dyspraxia 
  • Students requiring literacy and numeracy intervention 

You will play a key role in fostering student engagement, confidence, and success through tailored support and collaborative practice. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Supporting students in Junior Primary literacy and numeracy and/or with the ability to assist Secondary students specifically in English, Mathematics and Science 
  • Assisting in the preparation, implementation, and supervision of learning and intervention programs 
  • Providing targeted support for students with ASD, dyslexia, and literacy/numeracy needs 
  • Offering, or being willing to offer, continence and personal care for Junior Primary students where required

Position Details:
In this rewarding position, you will work closely with teachers to provide targeted support for students with a range of learning profiles, including: 

  • ESO Grade 3 – Curriculum
  • Multiple positions available (permanent and contract for 2026)
  • Commencing March 2026
  • 41 weeks per year
  • 19.5 – 26 hours per week (negotiable 3-4 days)
  • Full-time equivalent salary: $73,425 (Year 1)

We are seeking expressions of interest from casual staff who are passionate about developing happy, capable and confident children through an engaging program to join our OSHC team. A willingness to work in both Before School Care (7 – 9am) and After School Care (2 – 6pm) will be advantageous.
