Term 1 Sport Update
Term 1 Summer sport has well and truly kicked off! Despite Round 2 being cancelled due to heat, teams have had a successful start to the season. We’re also excited for the Water Polo season to kick off next Thursday.
A reminder that there are no games over the long weekend, Saturday 8 March. We will recommence for Round 4 the following Saturday.
Term 2/3 Winter Sport Nominations
Nominations for Secondary Sport will be released next week. There will be a new process for nominations, so please keep an eye on your emails for communication and instructions around the nomination process.
Knockout Sport
Our open knockout touch football team are set to compete at the Division 2 statewide touch football competition next Wednesday. Keep an eye on the next newsletter for results!
The second round of knockout basketball trials were held yesterday, with excellent turnout and talent across Years 7-12. The selection panel will be making final teams over the next week, which will be posted to the SEQTA Knockout Sport Portal. Please note, any students who are selected for knockout basketball will be required to attend Open Night for an exhibition match (Thursday 3 April). More information will be distributed closer to the date.
