Ancient History

Ancient History was explored this term with various craft activities created by the talented educators to explore this theme.

The girls in Airspace made their own Papyrus paper and explored Hieroglyphics. Students discussed and explored the different symbols and their meanings using technology to research online, and by watching educational videos.

Students in the Centre discussed as a group the timelines of ancient histories by considering what is meant by B.C and to put this into perspective for students when discussing famous individuals that shaped history such as Cleopatra and Tutankhamun.

Students looked at the history of Ancient Rome and constructed their own wreath. The crown was given as an honorary reward for victors in athletic, military, poetic, and musical contests. Students also explored ancient Greece and created their own Parthenon paintings.
