Celebrating Success for the Class of 2025!
Mercy Light: Learning
St Aloysius College proudly celebrates the academic achievements of the Class of 2025, whose Year 12 SACE results reflect dedication, perseverance, and a strong commitment to learning.
This year, 31 students achieved an ATAR above 90, with 110 students receiving an ATAR overall. Additionally, 90 per cent of Stage 2 results fell into the A and B bands. These exceptionally strong results place approximately 28 per cent of the cohort within the top 10 per cent of students nationally; a significant accomplishment that highlights both individual effort and collective excellence.
We are delighted to congratulate Emily T, who has been named DUX of the College for 2025. Upon receiving the news, Emily, who intends to study Law, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the College community: “I want to say thanks for getting me here, my life would be very different right now if I didn’t come to SAC. Thank you all for being a part of my journey.” Emily’s outstanding results exemplify the academic focus, curiosity, and determination that characterise this graduating cohort. In her final year, Emily gave generously to the College through her work as a STEM leader, and active participation in social justice and whole school initiatives.
Across the cohort, students achieved an impressive 50 A+ grades, alongside 12 Merits awarded in a diverse range of subjects, including Psychology, Ancient Studies, General Mathematics, English Literary Studies, English, Essential English, Business Innovation, Activating Identities and Futures and Workplace Practices. These results reflect the breadth of pathways offered at St Aloysius College, and the value placed on recognising success in all forms of learning. Beyond their academic accomplishments, the Class of 2025 has distinguished itself through a strong commitment to social justice and service. Guided by the College’s Mercy values, students have demonstrated compassion, courage, respect and hospitality in the way they lead, serve, and engage with the wider community. Their values-driven approach to learning and life has been exemplary, reflecting a true understanding that success is measured not only by results, but by the impact one has on others.
Behind these achievements lies the dedication of our students, the commitment and dedication of our teaching and support staff, and the unwavering care of their families. Together, they form a learning community that encourages students to strive for personal excellence and build capacity through education.
We extend our congratulations to the Class of 2025 and wish each graduate every success as they move forward with confidence, purpose, and hope into the next chapter of their lives.
