Access to OSHC

Fobs – At SAC OSHC we are committed to providing a safe environment and best possible care for your daughters. To support this endeavour, we are now locking the front entrance to the OSHC building. Parents and caregivers, with collection authority, can access the building by using a fob.

To register for a fob please scan the QR codes located around the OSHC room and in the school front office. If you have already registered, please check your emails for a notification that your fob is ready for collection from the OSHC reception desk.

Programming

Term 1, 2025

This term our program is exploring several different themes that provide the students with wonderful new learning opportunities through play and leisure. Every day we dive headfirst into each of the five My Time, Our Place Learning Outcomes for school aged children to support their identity, connection to their world, sense of wellbeing, building confidence in learning, and becoming effective communicators. You may have noticed we are posting Learning Stories each day about the activities and fun your daughters are having while at OSHC. If you have any suggestions or feedback regarding our programming or service delivery we would love to hear form you. We have a suggestion box at the sign in/out desk or please feel free to send an email any time.

Vacation Care

Our April Vacation Care program is in its finals stages of completion and will be out to families in Week 9. Bookings will commence Monday 24 March so have your diaries ready. The service will be closed for all public holidays in the April school holidays (Friday 18, Monday 21, and Friday 25 April)

Childcare Subsidy (CCS)

If you receive a letter from Centrelink stating your CCS has ‘Ceased’ please do not stress. This means that you have not accessed the service for 14+ weeks and thus not claimed any CCS during this time. All that is required of you is to ensure you have provided Centrelink with your most up to date Activity Test and the next time you make a booking your CCS will be automatically reinstated. If you have any further questions about your CCS, please contact me and I will be more than happy to help.
