Inspiring and Tasty!
As part of the Year 7 Health curriculum, students explore the topic of Nutrition. To introduce this unit, Sprout Cooking School visited the cohort last week. In the session Sprout dietician, Emilee, presented information around healthy eating and her colleague, Elsa, demonstrated how to cook a deliciously healthy version of butter chicken. Students learnt about cooking safety and hygiene tips, how to read and adapt a recipe, as well as ways to save money by using seasonal fruit and vegetables. It was definitely an inspiring and tasty way to begin the Year 7 Nutrition unit!
