International Day of Peace | A Sea of Hope

International Day of Peace | A Sea of Hope

This week, our St Aloysius College community gathered at our Peace Pole to mark the International Day of Peace.

We were delighted to welcome Heidi Unferdorben from the Rotary Club of Adelaide and Georgina Tenny from the Rotary Club of St Peters, who joined our students and staff for this special occasion.

Surrounding our Peace Pole was a beautiful “sea of hope”; paper boats folded by our students, each representing a hope for a more peaceful world. Together, they reminded us that peace begins with each of us and grows through the choices we make every day.

May peace begin with us. May Peace Prevail on Earth.
