Rostrum Voice of Youth

Rostrum Voice of Youth

Rostrum Voice of Youth is a national public speaking competition for school students in Years 7-12 which provides an excellent opportunity for entrants to gain experience and confidence in expressing their views and communicating a message.  On Saturday May 10, five students from St Aloysius College competed in the first heat of the competition at Immanual College.  Each competitor had to present a pre-prepared speech as well as a quick preparation round where students had only 15 minutes to prepare a three-minute speech on an unknown topic.  It was an incredible day with hundreds of participants taking part.  SAC did a fantastic job and congratulations to Mariya Zaghwan and Aamina Dars who were selected to compete in the semi-final on May 24th.
