Spreading Christmas Cheer and Affirmations for WCH and Calvary Patients 💖🎄🎁
The Year 3 & 4 passionate SRCs created artwork for placemats on food trays for children who are patients at the WCH. They SRCs spent time adding some words of encouragement and positive affirmations to the placemats.
Affirmations included:
- Stay Strong
- You can do this!
- You’re stronger than you know
- You’re braver than you believe and stronger than you seem
- Believe in the magic of new beginnings
- Every day may not be good, but there is something good in every day
- The sky is the limit
- One small step at a time is still moving forward
- Shine bright like a diamond
- You can do anything!
What a heartwarming initiative by the Year 3 & 4 SRCs! Their artwork and words of encouragement on placemats for children at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital (WCH) will surely brighten the days of those facing tough times.
Also, Tony and Cheryl from Calvary Hospital collected our students’ handmade Christmas placemats, ready to brighten patient trays this festive season. Year 9 stars Capri and Leila were there to help spread the festive spirit!
We hope that the recipients of these beautiful gifts enjoy them as much as the students did in their creation.
