Term 3 Vacation Care
The Vacation Care Program engaged our students in an array of activities both in the OSHC centre and on excursions.
The program began with a playground hop where the students had an opportunity to explore the three popular playgrounds in the south region of Adelaide. They also visited Cleland Wildlife Park where they learned about native fauna and flora as well as an opportunity to pat a koala and some kangaroos.
The most talked about and love excursion this time was by far Bounce. The students had a great time participating in a two-hour session of active play including rock climbing, trampoline, dodgeball and more.
Our Centre activities included an incursion from Bricks 4 Kidz where they explored STEM through lego and robotics. Other activities included a board game bonanza day, crafty critters craft day, cultural day exploring the country of Japan and a Move ‘n’ Groove Day full of music, karaoke and dancing.
We concluded our holiday program with The Great OSHC Bake Off. Our students had a lot of fun cooking up a storm in the OSHC kitchen and participating in a baking showdown. Overall, the students had a wonderful time at Vacation Care with days of endless fun.
