Term 3 Vacation Care

Term 3 Vacation Care

The October Vacation Care program engaged the students in an array of activities. The program began with a much-anticipated visit to the famous Haigh’s Chocolate Factory. Students enjoyed a tour, learning how chocolate is made and the history of the Haigh’s Chocolate Factory. On their return to school, the students enjoyed making some chocolate treats in the OSHC Centre.

Other excursions included a visit to the Mars Sports Complex, the movies and the theatre to see the Production of ‘Madagascar the Musical’ presented by the Adelaide Youth Theatre.

Our OSHC Centre was a buzz with a High Tea Party. Students prepared some treats and shared them with their friends while they sipped on refreshing pink lemonade.

Students also enjoyed the ever-so-popular ‘bring your wheels to school’ day as well as a cultural day where we explored the country of Thailand and learned about Thai culture, language, crafts and food.

The holiday program concluded with the ‘SAC Show Day’. The students had a fun Friday designing and creating their own show bag, face painting, games and party food. A great time was had by all!
