Year 7 Digital Technology – Designing in 3D!

Our Year 7 Digital Technology students have been diving into the world of 3D design using TinkerCAD! One of their first creative tasks was to design and personalise their own name keyrings – some of which you can see in the photos. These designs have been brought to life using our 3D printers.

Students are now applying their design skills to a new challenge: creating their own fidget toys with at least one moving part. It’s been exciting to see their creativity and problem-solving in action as they explore the possibilities of 3D modelling!
